BIBLIOGRAFÍA.RESUMEN: El empleo de la terapia de presión negativa es una opción muy extendida en el manejo de las curas de heridas complejas. Según la bibliografía, cada vez son más las indicaciones del tratamiento con presión negativa en heridas de diversa índole. El sistema de terapia de presión negativa promueve la curación de heridas mediante la aplicación de niveles controlados de presión subatmosférica y succión controlada, acelerando la resolución, favoreciendo la vascularización y el desbridamiento. Este sistema se considera fundamental en el tratamiento de heridas complejas las cuales suponen un reto terapéutico importante y suelen acarrean a los pacientes que las padecen un largo ingreso hospitalario. La terapia de vacío puede disminuir el tamaño de la herida y protegerla de infecciones, así como reducir el costo sanitario gracias a un menor tiempo de ingreso hospitalario. PALABRAS CLAVE: Tera...
